The 43rd Annual Blarney Breakfast ~ Friday, March 16th 2018 from 6 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

The 43rd Annual Blarney Breakfast will feature festivities with bagpipers, Irish dancers and much more!  Enjoy a hearty breakfast with bottomless cups of coffee – Adult Tickets are $15 and a Child Ticket (12 and under) is just $5!

Saturday Spotlight – Miri’s Minis

I’m a big fan of donuts, and I recently stopped by Miri’s Minis to try out their delicious mini-donuts!   They are located at 3543 E. Douglas, in Wichita, Ks,  in a lovely shop next to Cero’s Candies.  I tried their Peanut Butter Cup Signature Minis, and Raspberry Iced Tea and they were delicious!

Signature Minis are 6 for $3.99 ~ Classic Minis ( powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or cocoa ) are 6 for $2.99

Their mini-donuts are served on a stick, and very easy to eat!

The inside of the store is charming with lots of seating areas.   Their atmosphere is perfect for meeting friends and Celebrations!

It’s Fun. It’s Informative. It’s Shopping!

Gather your friends for a weekend of fun at the 20th annual Women’s Fair!

 Century II Expo Hall ~ Wichita, Ks

 Womens Fair hours are Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, February 16th,  9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 17th, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. February 18th.

Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free.

The Women’s Fair is all about women – their work, play, families, creativity, style, body and soul.

Visit with 385 exhibits, 23 stage shows,  fashion, fitness, entertainment, pampering, health and of course – shopping!

The 20th annual Wichita Women’s Fair will be a three-day celebration featuring a multitude of shopping opportunities in addition to cooking demos by local chefs, a motivational speaker, daily fashion and hair shows, health screenings and a new karaoke contest!

Friday evening is again ‘Girl’s Night Out’ featuring wine and restaurant food tastings, cooking shows, a door prize, shopping spree and a girlfriend photoshoot contest. Motivational speaker and humorist Amy Dee will share tips on meaningful life changes during a main stage presentation sponsored by Via Christi Health on Saturday.

            Patrick Kilian, local graduate and head hair artist for the hit TV show “Scandal,” will be demonstrating and consulting in the Crave Beauty Academy booth as well as  presenting a high-energy “Scandal” themed stage show. Custom makeup artist Sheona Sleiman will also present two on-stage makeup classes with demonstrations.

Models & Images will again coordinate twice-daily fashion shows featuring local models and stores as well as conduct the International Model Search. A doggy fashion show on Saturday featuring rescue-dog models escorted by Kansas Firefighters Calendar Team members is a benefit for Hands of Hope Rescue.

            In addition to two dozen stage shows, 385 exhibits will showcase the latest in gourmet foods and utensils, accessories, fashions, entertaining, hobbies, decorating, beauty products, fitness, health, spa services and boutique shopping.

The Women’s Fair was started by Wichita women Chris Veazey Brown and Deanna Wheeler 20 years ago. Each year the show attracts 15,000 attendees from across the state and Oklahoma.  Fair hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.  Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free.

Spot’s Party Bus will again provide free doorside transportation from Lawrence-Dumont Stadium parking lot.
