Tim O’Brien and Jan Fabricius

Grammy winning singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tim O’Brien grew up singing in church and in school, and after seeing Doc Watson on TV, became a lifelong devotee of old time and bluegrass music. Tim first toured nationally in the 1980’s with Colorado bluegrass band Hot Rize. Over the years, Tim has released 15 solo CD’s, as well as collaborations with many other well-known artists.

O’Brien’s solo shows feature his solid guitar, fiddle, and banjo, along with his engaging vocals and harmony from Jan Fabricius. Expect a range of original compositions and traditional arrangements from his many discs, mixed with stories and Tim’s self-deprecating humor.

Volume Five

Volume Five is certainly blazing a red-hot trail on the bluegrass scene with their live stage performances and chart-topping albums. In 2017, Volume Five was honored with two International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards. They received the Emerging Artist of the Year Award that features the extraordinary talents of lead vocalist, fiddle player and band leader, Glen Harrell who is joined by Colby Laney on guitar and vocals, Patton Wages on banjo and vocals, Chris Williamson on bass and vocals, and aspiring young talent, Jacob Burleson on mandolin and vocals.

One thing fans can count on with Volume Five is that they will never be let down with their live performances and that those live performances will transcend the live show and be just as impactful on their recorded music.
