Kansas State Fair to showcase the best of the Sunflower State

Those attending the 2018 Kansas State Fair will be able to explore the state through daily themes that focus on the different components that make Kansas unique.

Each day of the fair – which runs from Sept. 7-16 – will be structured around an important piece of the state’s industry, people, innovations, and entertainment. This new approach will provide fairgoers the chance to experience the Kansas State Fair in a targeted way – and may open the door to discoveries they’ve previously overlooked.

The 10-day celebration will launch with “Explore Kansas” – a virtual tour of Kansas through exhibits that showcase the state’s food, history, wildlife, geology, towns, and people. Throughout the week, daily themes will help guide attendees through an interactive, hands-on experience that highlights different aspects of Kansas, across a spectrum of topics, including civic engagement, food, technology, and innovation.
