The Studio will be hosting its 6th Kid’s Cabaret for a Cause to benefit The Christmas Crusade.  Previous Kid’s Cabs have raised money for The Treehouse, The Wichita Children’s Home, The Kansas Food Bank and Music Theatre Wichita. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with my students and we all love hosting these benefits for such worthy local causes.” Many of these Studio students performed in the 2016 Music Theatre Wichita season, including James Heinrichs who recently played Chip in Beauty and the Beast.  Other performers include Abby Jolicoeur and Cami Abraham, 2016 Finalists in the Voice of the Heartland vocal competition in Oklahoma. Abby was also the 2014 Winner of the Kansas Kids Got Talent competition and 2016 $1,000 Grand prize winner of the Voice of the Children competition.  In 2014, Studio student, Timothy TV Cao joined the Broadway cast of Matilda as a swing for the roles of Bruce and Tommy.  After in year in NYC, Timothy studied with the American Ballet Theatre in NYC and currently studies with ABT in Kansas City while continuing lessons at The Studio.

About The Studio – Amy Menas Voice

The Studio – Amy Menas Voice, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas launched operations in 2006, is focused on providing private voice lessons and vocal and performance coaching for young people. Studio students have performed on Broadway in New York City, at regional productions and locally in several Music Theatre Wichita productions, as well as numerous community events and school projects. Boasting more than fifty students, ranging in age from seven to eighteen years old The Studio is dedicated to enriching the lives of young people and the audiences for whom they perform.
