Faith & Life Bookstore in Newton, Ks is sponsoring a summer reading program for kids and adults of all ages.  It is free to join and is open to anyone. This program started May 23rd and goes thru August 15th.

 The program consists of a bingo game board with different book subjects listed in each space.  To fill the space, simply read a book from that subject (for example, Biography or Historical Fiction) and write down the title.   “We wanted a fun way to encourage people–especially kids– to continue reading through the summer,” said Bethany Martin, manager at the store. “The bingo game should give people the freedom to read what they want, within a few fun parameters.”  There are also several “free choice” spaces on each board that allow people to choose whatever title they want.

For each bingo completed and turned in by August 15th there will be a prize given.  Each bingo will also earn an entry into a drawing for one of three grand prizes–a $50 gift card for each age category (preschool-6th grade, 7th-12th grade and Adult).

While you do not have to buy your books at Faith & Life for them to qualify–you will receive an extra entry for each book purchased at the store.
