The 9th Annual Autism CARE Walk is the largest autism walk of it’s kind in a 500 mile radius. Last year, over 5,000 autism advocates walked together and raised funds for the Heartspring CARE (Community of Autism Resources and Education) Program which provides outreach training, consultations and programs to support individuals and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
How to get involved: Registration for the walk is FREE and will open on Monday, February 1st at www.autismcarewalk.org. Once registered, you’ll have the opportunity to raise donations, share your fundraising campaigns on your social media pages, follow other teams, and more!
And, to take the additional steps to show your support for your “1 in 68,” you can also purchase an Autism CARE Walk T-shirt for $10 during your registration. With your T-shirt purchase, you are providing a child one week of participation in the CARE social clubs! Through different activities and group discussions, the clubs help children gain important social skills they can use to lead independent lives.
