The Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra will celebrate its 20th anniversary of summer chamber music Sunday, June 7th at 4 p.m.

The concert, entitled “Chamber Fusion,” will feature Harvey County Music Festival co-founders Don Kehrburg, oboe, and James Jones, clarinet. They will be joined by tenor Bryce Sund, cellist Jakub Jerzy Omsky and pianist Karen Baumann Schlabaugh.
Concert patrons will enjoy the music of Brahms, Hanson and Gershwin and musicians will revisit old programs from the Harvey County Music Festival and Summer Music concerts. A dessert reception hosted by the NMKSO board of directors will follow the performance.
Tickets are $15 at the door or $12.50 in advance.
